My name is Jerry van Kooten. This website is about my work as a lyricist and poet.

I've been writing poems and lyrics for many years now. After a privately released book, guitarist / singer / songwriter Hans van der Meer started putting several of my lyrics to his music. And that actually gave me the idea for this website.

Swiss prog band Kedama have used several lyrics and poems on their 2005 CD titled Hope Is...

This website is to give you some examples of what I am writing.
